When the Mai Khao Marine Turtle Foundation and JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa announced a competition to name the latest turtle to be rescued by and find new home at the foundation’s Turtle Shelter, Gecko jumped on the opportunity and came up with a suitable name — Donatello.
The final name was picked by the turtle itself who selected it from the final three.
We can’t wait to meet Donatello in person!
